Short visit to Saigon
Excellent location with many restaurants, banks, coffee shop and Ben Thanh near by. Staffs are friendly and continue to book at the same hotel again after a short domestic tour.

Halo Hotel is in a good location close to Ben Thanh market and the walking street. Our room was on the seventh floor on the street side and was quite loud and bright all night even with the curtains closed. The linens were stained and there was a lot of dusk on the lamps. However, the AC worked well and the shower had hot water.

Is a small hotel near Ben thanh market. Breakfast should be improved.. When we went to the dining place at 8am there is no more food.. N breakfast starts from 7am.

Right in the action
Great location. Right across the road from the Street Food Market and Ben Thanh market is less than a minute walk. We had a balcony room. The room and balcony were great except for the fact it looked straight into other rooms from a different place and over rooftops. We had room 321 so if you want a better balcony, ask for a street view one 😉 Breakfast is very average. The staff are awesome and very helpful. Be warned, they will keep your passport for your stay unless you leave 500,000 for each passport. This was the only place who did this on our visit and we stayed in 6 different hotels.

It is budget hotel, location very good within Benh Tanh area and just walking distance, also easy to get any transport. Easy to get halal food especially for muslim traveller. Bathroom floor is slippery because wrong suitable tiles, toilet is clean, water tap is loose, tv not functioning very well, air-condition remote control not functioning, shower water pressure is good. On security aspect is very good because fixed with sharp iron spikes at rear side of the building. The hotel should change to use more good and quality door lock.

Clean comfortable stay at a great location and $$$
Close to everything. 200M from Ben Thanh Market. Lots of street food set up to serve foreigner and price reasonable. Even found fish tacos and it is pretty decent.

Highly recommend to anyone going to HCM District 1
I've stayed in many budget hotel 2-3 stars in HCM Dist 1 over the past years and I would say Halo Hotel gave me the most pleasant stay with the same budget. The hotel is conveniently located just opposite the center of Cho Ben Thanh district 1. The doormen are absolutely hardworking and the hotel staffs alway carry smiles on their faces. The deco of the room is high quality wood and matresses are pocketed spring matresses with pillowtop with fine threaded bed linens. The bathtub fits 2 person. the chambermaids does a good job of cleaning up the rooms everytime.

Nice experience at Halo Hotel HCMC Vietnam
As I was arriving late (around 1am) to Halo Hotel I emailed them direct to enquire if there were 24hr facilities. I received a prompt reply from Miss Thuy who reassured me all will be well. Miss Thuy arranged a taxi for me from the airport and was met by friendly staff. The room was nice, clean and had a small balcony so I could smoke. A bonus. Breakfast was good which was included in the price of my stay. I stayed 3 nights at Halo and the staff were very kind and always willing to help with any enquiry I made. I would recommend this hotel as it is close to Ben Thanh Market and in the heart of District 1 in HCMC. Thorougly enjoyed my time there.

Great Location, Outstanding Staff
My sister and I stayed in room 622, climb a set of stairs from 5th floor to reach it. The room was very comfortable, the bathroom wall was completely walled in. The staff was all very helpful, smiley and always ready to assist. The only drawback is the noise that can be heard upstairs on the roof (the laundry/cleaners taking room amenities+renovation??). We could also hear continuous beeping sound which came from the other side of the wall. Overall, we will definitely come back but will choose a different room. Great location for shopping!

Great location, nice staff. All in all good value.
They closed down one section of the hotel for lift maintenance, so had to move room to another part of hotel. They knew about this work in advance, but choose to tell me just as I was going out for the day.

ベンタイン市場に近くわかりやすい立地
2棟あるらしく友人と同じ棟に宿泊したいなら+5ドルでVIPルームに宿泊する必要があるといわれ、IVPに… 部屋はかわいい感じですが、浴槽の塗装が剥げており入ると剥げた塗装が付く。朝食ビュッフェなのに突然今日はセレクトメニューですと言われる。VIP ルームにランクアップしたせいでトリプルがオプションベットとなり、病院の簡易ベッドのようで全く眠れなかった。 などなど…ベンタイン市場のすぐ側なので帰り道はベンタインマーケットと伝えればタクシーで帰ってこられるので便利でした。 ただ、表記と異なることはエクスペディアさんにしっかり確認してもらいたいです。
