Very frustrating experience overall. Communication was extremely difficult from the start. We even emailed the property in advance about our early arrival and received no response. The Expedia email did not include direct contact information, and the customer service number went unanswered. On the day of arrival, someone finally picked up after multiple attempts and told us their team wouldn’t be available until 11 AM.
When we arrived early, the security guard tried to charge us 2 million VND to store our luggage. When we refused, he told us to wait outside on the street. We ended up waiting nearly 4 hours under the sun before a staff member arrived. She was kind and apologetic, but the situation should never have happened. We later discovered there was a waiting room right next to the security desk that was never offered to us.
The apartment did not match the listing. The rooms were smaller than advertised, with poor ventilation. The bathrooms were tiny, with visible mold and even a mushroom growing out of the wall due to moisture. Only the master bedroom had a TV, and it stopped working after a few hours.
The building itself was hot with no proper AC, even in the waiting area, and there were mosquitoes throughout. People, including security guards, were constantly smoking at the entrance despite a no-smoking sign.
The location is also misleading. It’s about a 15-minute walk to Bui Vien, not 5 minutes.
