We were told by the manager check-in was not 3pm despite it being advertised in every room, Expedia, and the Hilton website. There was no accommodation made for the inconvenience. "The rear door from the parking lot was locked open providing no security. The pool was unfilled in mid-June, the cover was ripped and the leaves and debris filling it was a mosquito invested green swamp. The staff was great but the owner/management needs to make maintenance and security a priority. I wouldn't have stayed if I knew the pool and door were inoperable. The staff and ease of access to the highway are this locations redeeming qualities."

"I was travelling with a pet for a one-night stay. I booked through Expedia. The listing stated that the hotel was pet friendly, but did not state that there was an additional $25.00 pet fee per night. I found this out from the clerk who checked me in. I was not happy about that, but I paid it. The grounds were not great for pets. There was not much grassy area for pet bathroom breaks and no bags available to pick up pet waste. The side entrance nearest to my room did not open with the key card,...

"The skunk smell of marijuana was everywhere. Very difficult to believe from such an old establishment. Kind of disgusting Back door security was not secure in the evening. People discussing drugs waiting around the door for residents to enter."

"I informed the staff that the internet was down at 4:00 pm and it was stll down at 8:00 am. They kept showing me on their phones that it was up but it wasn't. I missed getting a lot of crutial work done that put me way behind. Pool water was clowdy and there was mold growing on the sides. The pool is in poor condition with cracked loose tiles on the perimeter."

"I’ve never stayed at a bare bone extended stay hotel. Didn’t really understand that this is what it was. But it was clean and the general manager, Nicole, handle everything with the utmost professionalism! She was very friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome!! Wood springs would be very fortunate to have more managers like Nicole!"
