The stay was perfect, better than I remember from my last stay 12yrs ago... The staff were incredible and the attention to detail is flawless, breakfast was superbly presented and of course the room in the fantastic location made the stay so wonderful

The Lodge was a nice place to stay. They served a delicious breakfast that was included in the price. It is far from town but they offered a lovely 3 course dinner each night that was extra. We saw zebras and baboons in the mornings.

Fantastic Stay

This was such a great spot. The views and the grounds were beautiful. The room was very nicely decorated and comfotable. The staff were fantastic and quite accomodating to our child who is a fussy eater. The 3 course meals were very good. Zebra and wildebeest came into the gardens and the staff gave them feed so they would come closer. I would highly recommeded and hope to come back again.

Peaceful, beautiful garden spot.

We woke up to cool breezes and Zebras resting outside our room. This botanical garden has some 'wild' life; some Zebras, Wildebeest, and Vervet Monkeys. This is not an adventurous place, but the safe game experience, which seems a bit contrived, is well worth it if you're looking for a quiet setting to relax.

The cottage was disappointing. The stairs were dangerous (tree with a flimsy rope for a rail?), the bedroom was okay but there was a drop step into the bath area! Did not like the fact that there was no bathroom privacy.

Lieu très bien décoré avec un très bel extérieur et vue sur la montagne. Le personnel est disponible et très agréable. Les repas sont bons et copieux. Idéal si vous recherchez du calme à proximité du parc Kruger et des réserves privées. La proximité avec les zèbres est incroyable. Je recommande ce Lodge.

a highlite of our trip through SA. We had the hillside house for some days. Very nice interieur and a well maintained environment. The only bad thing to note was the distance from the headquater (10km), but that was woth it. Perfekt place to start your tours in and around the Blyde River Canyon. Tipp: Always steel some bread from the breakfast for the zebras, they will stay beneth your breakfast table!

Sehr schöne Unterkunft zwischen Blyde River Canyon und Krüger NP. War eine tolle Abwechslung. Schöne Umgebung mit Spazierwegen. Zebras und Antilopen grasen auf der Wiese bei der Unterkunft und die Zebras sind halb zahm und streifen um den Pool der Unterkunft. Enorm nettes Personal. Sehr persönlich und familiär.

Magnifique maison africaine

Hôtel très bien situé à proximité du Blyde river Canyon. Cet établissement a beaucoup de charme, beau mobilier en bois traditionnel africain sur les vérandas. Nous avions le chalet avec 2 chambres à proximité immédiate du bâtiment principal. Très belle chambre au premier étage J’airaI aimé y séjourner plus longtemps
