"Stayed with a group of friends for a cycling event, the Hotel is excellent and the staff are a credit to the place. "

"Although the hotel was in a good location and had free parking , a nice room and an adequate breakfast. Unfortunately our 1 night stay was spoilt with the fact that on our arrival the hotel was completely locked up. Check in stated it was from 3pm and we arrived at half past. After ringing the proprietor, she arrived after half an hour to let us in. Our next problem was over the price we paid . Our offer included a free breakfast ,but the lady argued that we hadn't paid enough. So she rang Expedia to complain. So we had to sit and wait about another hour before we were given the key to our room. But at least we were told that we were entitled to a free breakfast. We still had to settle the bill for city tax which states is €2 35 each. But we didn't receive any change from a 10€ note. As it took over 90mins to check in , it meant that we had very little time to visit the lovely centre of valkeburg before the attractions closed. I certainly wouldn't visit again due to the owners bad attitude. Although I must say, the girl who served breakfast was lovely."

"This was a dump. There were holes in doors and the carpet was gross. The furniture was salvaged. The towels should have been used for cleaning. I put a chair in front the door and left a light on because there’s no additional lock. I would never recommend this space to someone. "

"Breakfast: very limited menu, for instance making a fried egg was not possible. Just one type of juice, hardly healthy options ( no salads). $17 is too much for such a modest breakfast."

"The bed and pillow were no good. Too soft. Did not sleep well. Also, i was expecting a double bed but it were two single beds next to eachother. I might be wrong but I thought I had booked a double bed."

"Our stay was awesome. The host and hostess were so friendly and very welcoming. They were so informative about the area . The rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was an added bonus and it was delicious . Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend to others. Thank you "
