The perfect rest stop

We have stopped at Klingerhof numerous times over the last 10 years. Always friendly and welcoming. A few kilometres from the autobahn but so peaceful, the perfect rest stop on a long journey. And dog friendly.

Hotel located on a nice place with a view. Personal is efficient and friendly. Breakfast is excellent. Decorations needs refreshments to be updated. Parking invoiced ( even at 3 euros per day) is not acceptable for such a location. Nevertheless we can only recommend this hotel.

Comfortable stay

Super overnight stay with a dog, comfortable beds, bathroom on a smaller side, but good shower, lovely towels provided. Will be returning.

Nice hotel, with swimming pool and sauna. Nice people and a ok restaurant next door. Only real downside when we stayed there was that a group of persons did think it was ok to be loved outside till 3 am.. this kept us up as well…

Schönes ruhiges Hotel, super Essen

Das Personal war freundlich, das Hotel sauber, das Schwimmbad auch trotz Umbauarbeiten im Vorraum. Das dazugehörige Restaurant Tenne war super. Tolle Qualität, ein super Koch, der individuelle Wünsche gerne ausführte. Auch hier war das Personal sehr nett. Das Essen war nicht nur superlecker sondern von hoher Qualität. Der Fitnessraum ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Man sieht, dass das Hotel schon ein paar Jahre auf dem Buckel hat, aber es wird gepflegt. Gerne wieder. 👍
