"This hotel will be our new go-to stop when travelling between Scotland and England. Excellently situated off motorway. Quiet, good parking, lovely size, clean, comfortable rooms (new beds!) and the staff are wonderful. Breakfast was great too - self service buffet with all the usual and a sign that welcomes you to eat as much as you want and take away more. We arrived late and the two lads working were really nice. The ladies at breakfast were lovely too and Adam who was in charge was professional, kind and helpful. Would really recommend this hotel. 10/10"

"Expecting refurbished spa disappointed with condition Six people were awaiting entry at 6.30am let in five minutes late.windows rattled from wind regularly was assigned another room which was more spacious and good.limited to two pillows for couple people offering limited support.Food was good and well presented thank you."

"Second stay and a whole much better. Breakfast excellent as ever, room facilities were in good condition, including a working fridge except for a broken window handle. Still couldn't turn the radiator off, so too hot and the Spa could be more accessible with priority given to staying guests."

"Parking was excellent plenty of spaces. There was no chef so wasn't able to get anything to eat not even offered a sandwich and lift was broken but gentleman on reception did offer to help with any luggage"

"A great overnight stay at The Bluebird. We were attending a wedding nearby. Close to the motorway, but in a quiet area. The room was a good size & had everything we needed. We requested an iron & ironing board, and the team brought it up. We wanted food in our room & had to order this downstairs in the bar, wait and bring it up. Not an issue, but the option for room service would have been welcomed. The staff were all very friendly, helpful & welcoming. "

"Ideally located just off the M65. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Room was clean and tidy with a tea/coffee making facility. Free wi-fi was easily accessible. Pub/restaurant next to the accommodation building had a great selection of beers and a comprehensive menu. Breakfast was served in the pub/restaurant. Great selection from continental to full english."
