In a holiday full of excellent hotels this one felt like a standout stay - a cute little building not far from the station (and, more importantly, the fish market, with genuinely lovely staff and excellent amenities. We arrived quite early, too early to check in, and were given a drink and told about the hotel before leaving our bags to explore. The room was delightful, a good size, a well stocked fridge of complementary drinks, a unit to dry clothes as part of the shower and a comfortable bed....

Excellent location - close to the castle, gardens and fish market as well as the loop bus service. Peaceful and restful hotel, spacious and comfortable room. My only complaint was that the LED light for the air con was way too bright at night.

Excellent stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Thank you.

Great hotel in a good location, close enough to the station to walk (15mins) and directly opposite the market, and close to Ken-rouken garden. Clean,

Excellent hotel in a great location. Rooms were large, staff were super friendly. We got off the Shinkansen and it was about 2 mins walk to the hotel which was brilliant. Lovely roof top bar, didn’t have the breakfast.

The hotel is lovely, in a perfect location to the markets, shopping and just across the road from the Gion area. The room was comfortable, the beds are comfortable and the bathroom is of an ok size compared with other bathrooms in Japan. The only thing was the staff poor English. It made it difficult to communicate without a translator app, but nonetheless they were friendly and professional. The hotel is in a very good condition

Fabulous hotel in a fabulous location.

This hotel is great! We had the suit room 1309 on top floor. Very spacious for family of 4. To get an additional room was very cheap but we preferred to stay together. Breakfast had good options from trad Japanese to pizza made fresh in huge pizza oven. Hotel was super clean and nothing was worn or damaged. Let down is no gym or lounge facilities. We would definitely stay here again no doubt

Second time l have stayed here. Staff are very welcoming and helpful. Clean and comfortable room, only slight negative is the room could benefit from some redecoration - one wall was a little scuffed. Laundry facilities are very good, washing machines have instructions in English (make sure you have 100 yen coins to pay, there's no change machine) l would definitely stay here again.

Hotel is nice decorated with hot spring. It is good to enjoy our stay.

Really nice hotel close to the station and the Maroot shopping building. Rooms were clean and I particularly liked the shower/bath room. Like quite a few Japanese hotels, the shower and bath (while in the same room) are separate. That means while you shower the bath can be filling up. It gives you the Japanese option of washing yourself clean in the shower and then getting into a hot bath to relax straight away. Breakfast was also great - unlike most hotels, someone takes you to your table first...

Slightly old world hotel with old fashioned decor but that's quite nice from the usual modern hotels. The onsen was good. Sauna was excellent too, especially having a TV to watch while sweating away. Breakfast was good too. It's great that the staff are attentive at breakfast but almost too much, hovering around and almost getting in the way. My only small request is that Japanese hotels all seem to say breakfast served 0700h to 1000h for example but actually start to close down 30 min or so...

Absolutely fantastic. Loved the room and the onsen was everything I needed. Lots of amenities and freebies which really surprised me. A nice little getaway while still being central to Kanazawas tourist spots.

We arrived in Kanazawa in a thunder, lightening and hail storm and were confined to the hotel for the evening. The staff couldn't have been more welcoming and we had a thoroughly relaxed and pleasant evening in a beautiful room. The service was excellent and the facilities were good. Couldn't recommend it more highly.

Lovely hotel, very friendly staff. Great location!

After a very tiring couple of days, I was so glad I picked this hotel to retire to. Right next to the Shinkansen station but quiet and spotlessly clean with a great sized room this was the perfect business hotel.

Spacious clean rooms with helpful staff and a good selection of drinks and snacks, also located near the popular attractions.
