"A little nice gem in the heart of Kanazawa. It's hard to believe the building was over 100 years old. Great job on the renovation. The entire suite was great for family and perhaps a group of friends. Hugh and well stocked kitchen on 1st floor, large tatami bedroom and a cozy living room on the 2nd floor. "If you want to live an authentic Japanese experience, this is the best place for it. It is well located and comfortable with two floors. It is the house of a samouraï built 150 years ago but with all the modern conveniences: air conditioned in every room, TV, WiFi, fonctional kitchen and even a washer/drier. "The house was impeccably clean and organized. The host had already thought of every possible question and had answers written down in English in various guides and instructions. He also provided helpful maps identifying local restaurants and attractions nearby. The host had great communication and had thought of everything.
