"We booked a standard room and were given a disabled room which was right next to reception. It was therefore quite loud and there was minimal soundproofing. There was also patio furniture outside the window so we had noise from both sides. The wet room bathroom was pretty nasty. We showered after using the pool after checking in which meant the whole floor was wet and the bath mat was soaked through. There wasn’t a squeegee or anything to get rid of the water. We hoped it would drain but….it did not. The floor just remained wet for the rest of our stay. Wet feet anytime you needed to go into the bathroom which was really icky. No flip flops or slippers available. The ad said toiletries were included - this is actually only shower gel and hand wash, so I couldn’t wash my hair properly after using the pool. The room wasn’t that clean also - in need of a good dust. There was a dead spider on the window ledge that looked like it had been there for a while. We were only staying for 1 night fortunately, but any longer and we would have asked to move. I would have happily given this feedback to their reception in a kind manner at check out if they had asked how our stay was - however, no one did ask."

"We booked a family room, and fairly last minute. Paid a good price for it. A very friendly welcome, our family room was top of the building, a very warm day you kind of expect a building to get warm, but as we approached our room it got hotter, opened the door, someone had left the heating on in our room, and it was crazy hot. We opened the windows to let the heat out. We found the room neat and tidy, but the decor looking a bit tired, the carpet i think could be deep cleaned, alot of hair on the carpet, we found some crumbs and bits along the walls on the floor. The bathroom door had had a dodgy varnish job at some point. In the bathroom was an odd stain on the floor in the corner. Above the sink were some holes in the wall where im thinking attempts had been made to put the small shelf. The furniture looked very tired and old, the dresser with the cups and drinks on had lots of water marks all over it. The beds we found a little soft, we are used to a firmer mattress. The room was warm all night so we had windows open, and listened to the rain. Everytime one of us moved in the bed the headboard rattled the wall. The staff were very friendly, helpful and kind. I dont know if we just got unlucky with our room."

"The Globe Inn is comfortable and cozy with delicious breakfasts and drinks! We loved all the options for where you could sit, relax, and have a drink or snack--both indoors and out. The staff was very friendly and helpful. And the town of Well-next-the-sea is adorable."
