"This place was terrible. Checked into a dirty room. Floors were dirt the bed was dirty with lint from the carpet. Had no towels in bathroom, no toiletries. Night stands were dusty. When we did got towels they smiled molded. The pillows on the bed and the sheets were yellow/brownish. Worse of all their was no street parking. I would never stay here or recommend it to anyone. "

"If you are looking for the absolute cheapest stay then this would be decent as long as you are okay with broken toilet paper holders, the tiniest sink, and smelly towels. Not to mention the lights in the small room would flicker. You can also hear the room next to you’s conversation and loud music going off all night. Staff was nice. 40-60 minute train/bus trip to manhattan but brooklyn has its own charm that the local bodega’s show. No shopping nearby so don’t expect that. Hard to recommend this over places in jersey that have to same eta but probably safer trip to manhattan."

"I am far from a stickler. I’ve always stayed at this hotel as a quick stop when visiting home (Brooklyn) for the weekend and it’s been decent. This time however has been horrible! I came to stay with my 1year old and arrived around 9pm after a long day and flight. I had a big suitcase, carry on, and toddler car seat. I was given a room on the third floor which upon walking in was clearly freshly used as there were ruffled sheets. Imagine my annoyance having to go back down to the lobby with all of my baggage and child. I was then given a room on the second floor. Initially it looked better than the other room until I went to use the microwave that had stale food all over the plate. I mean a lot! I later discovered while showering hair that did not belong to me. There also was brown stains on the shower ceiling. I was grossed out to say the least about how unsanitary everything had been upon being given a second room. I refused to stay there with my baby for a second night especially after sleeping on top of the comforter for the first. I wasn’t able to give him a proper bath after traveling on a plane which was highly frustrating for me. I came into town to throw a surprise birthday BRUNCH party for my grandma but the real surprise was me returning to my room and my key not working. ONCE AGAIN, I had to go downstairs with all of my stuff and a baby to rectify that matter which was pretty quick but still the straw that broke the camel’s back considering everything endured. "
