"This hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the centre of Reykjavík and all the shops and restaurants. Easy to find free, on-street parking beside the hotel. Room was spacious and comfortable. Beds were comfy. Breakfast was excellent continental breakfast with all the usual things on offer. Well stocked Bonus supermarket about 7 mins away and is a real help for quality produce and snacks if you are visiting on a budget as eating out is very expensive. So much to do in Reykjavík. "Lovely clean little room in a good location and at a good price. We opted for a room with a separate bathroom and used the shard kitchen a little for drinks. About a 20 min walk into town but it does not feel that long."

"We selected the viking hotel because we saw the attached restaurants offered unique viking dining. Beds were a wonderful welcome after a long flight. We booked ourselves in a day early so our early arrival actually was a late checkin by hotel standards. But we went right to bed rested for a few hours then did some shopping locally."

"The room was super clean and very comfortable, though it was a little small in the room size for two twin beds. There was not a lot of space for two people to have suitcases along with the two separate beds, so it was a little squishy in that regard. But I would still go there again in a heartbeat. "We needed to check in early due a medical issue. Our room wasn’t available but just as we were about to leave the hotel staff ran out to tell us it was available. She got us checked it, ordered a morning breakfast, and got us situated. Absolutely the BEST customer service. This was on August 12th at 3:00. She was absolutely the most kindest person during our trip. "
