"Gare 55 is amazing. It is situated in a renovated train station and the facilities are absolutely top notch. The rooms are modern and spotlessly clean and very comfortable. There is a kitchen that we were able to use and there are prepared meals available in the freezer. We are looking for a reason to revisit the area as we would love to stay at Gare 55 again."

"The Post and Porter's House is in a great location and is within walking distance of two tram stops. The staff was very friendly and helpful whenever we had a question. "Aparthotel Castelnou is a delightful place to stay. The apartment was spacious and spotless and had everything you could possibly need. Staff were so helpful, attentive and friendly, including advice on the best way to walk into the city centre. Dinner was amazing and there is a very pleasant small garden for eating outside. I'd thoroughly recommend this as a great place to stay."

"It has no AC but knowing that they get high temps over a few days and only providing 1 broken fan for 4 ppl in the suite was not acceptable. Bathroom tiles had dust on them from the vent, the vent was full of dust and I guess part of the fluff spread to the tiles. Front desk one person and a queue of guests. Yes they offer self check-in but that system was horrible and constantly showed errors when trying to write the key cards. A good hotel has personal and doesn’t cheap out and cut personell....

"Beautiful building and excellent room, it felt like a dream. The bed was extremely comfortable. The only downside we experienced was the insulation was not great, and we could hear music for a long time in the night."

"The wheelchair accessible room was not fully accessible. The furniture needed to be rearranged to access the bed but otherwise the hotel had great facilities, friendly staff, good location and good value for money"

"This hotel is set up like a bed and breakfast, and is in a beautiful historic building that is in a walkable location. There are no staff on site except at breakfast, so communication is restricted to the Expedia message center or the phone number provided by the location inside the front door. There is no elevator (which we knew), so take this into account if you have mobility issues or heavy luggage. The positives - Great location and only a few minute walk to Ghent center on mostly flat...
