"Property is clean and reasonably up to date. Location is rural, out of town but close by, and therefore quiet and peaceful. It is attached to a Casino, awesome if you like that, but adequately separated if you don’t. A bar and limited restaurant are in the hotel area, with additional bar and small food court in the casino. I’ve been staying here for years due to location and quiet."

"The room was incredibly clean and immediately gave a comfy home vibe, as if I'd always lived there. The staff were kind and friendly, and the community in Shelter Cove overall were a treat to interact with. The Inn is right on the coast, so your backyard is basically a glorious view of the ocean and local wildlife via birds. "The inn keeper was very nice and even upgraded our room free of charge to the corner room with a view of the town. The building is a beautifully upkept, literally Victorian style inn on the main strip of Ferndale; only 15 minutes from downtown Eureka.
