The property was right where we came out at the Lei Tung exit from the South Island line. Look UP to see Blue Jay Residences. Like many hotels in Hong Kong, the room is small, but we enjoy seeing how they make the best use of the space they have. There was a fridge and small closet area with a few hangers. What we really enjoyed was the walks around town. More old fashioned and slower paced than HK the city. The waterfront is busy with junks looking for tourist riders as well as nicer boats. Many folks walking, many with dogs. So many benches to enjoy the view from.
Convenient location if you use MTR. But the room is extremely extremely small. It is only suitable for ONE tourist with only a backpack. If you are a big guy, don’t stay here. The bathroom measures 30 inches X 20 inches. You cannot open you luggage except by putting your luggage on your bed.

It was okay. Small, and wasn't spotlessly clean. Very convenient though as it's right next to the MTR.

in the picture the room looked big but when i reached the room it was really small and so little space to move. really not suitable for 2 people
Though the room is tiny, the price is very inexpensive. It’s reasonably clean, the towels are great. The location is good, next to MTR, with lots of restaurants, stores nearby. The harbour walk is just a block away.
Bluejay Residences definitely not for long term stay but maybe max 1-2 days.

It's quite a bargain to pay around HKD100 per person per night. However it would have been better if they provide a mounted table for take-out meals in the room.

The location is great but that's about the only good thing I can say. Even as a solo traveller, the room was TINY to the point that I had to contort myself on the bed because there was no place to place my luggage but alongside where I slept. It was pure torture for several days. After about a week I couldn't take it any longer and, even though my booking was non-refundable, I moved to a different hotel. They just went way too far in limiting the room size so I cannot recommend this property to anyone.

Great location, but that's about it. Steps from the South Island Line stop, 15 minutes from Central. But the rooms are TINY. The hot water didn't work. Hot water pot in the room took so long it wasn't worth it, and can't they provide a packet of instant coffee? And they didn't replace the water in the room. It's fine if judged on price alone. Best not stay there if you have options.

It was what I expected
As the previous reviews state the room is tiny like tiny! But for the price and the location (next to the train station) it is value for money. For only staying a few days it worked for us and in our budget. Room clean and staff friendly.
The room is small that haven’t enough space to place a baggage...

A nice place for short stay alone but impossible for two people or long
1. The room is really super small; even living alone (with BMI 17) in a twin room is still too small for me; hard to turn around
2. The design of table and seat is stupid; too small to use (again, space issue)
3. The toilet bowl gets clogged easily and basically, there is no ventilation fan; so the smell stays in the room for days.....
4. The room is either always very cold and wet (no ventilation fan), and it's freezing at night
The furniture is clean and very modern, but the space is really too small... Location wise is super convenient as it is right next to MTR station. If you stay here, recommend you not to get the smallest room. The location is great though

The hotel is right at an exit of the MTR.
Good accessibility to anywhere of the city but the room space is too small -- good accomodation for one people, not two.
It was a fantastically clean room, just a little bit small but didn't bother me. Actually found it quite cute and cosy. If you have large stature, probably not the best place to be staying because it's literally quite the human tetris. Not close to the centre but there are many busses services the center as well as a direct bus to the airport which is convenient! It's quiet with good amenities around like food stalls and a supermarket. Also quiet is something rare in hongkong. So if you like your peace and quiet, it's good here. Good for solo travelers as well. There will be a MTR subway stop there soon.

It was fine. Nothing special.
They hotel yards were in sad shape. The buildings were dated to the 60s. They were not all being used and falling disrepair. Sad
The customer service was great especially winnie, she was courteous and smiley all time and ladies whose clean up the room. They were very responsible for cleaning up. But the size of the room is small, it was hard to turn around all the time even the bathroom too, it was hard to take shower

Nice Hotel
The room was small of course, but the staff was nice and they are able to speak English, which made it really convenience for foreign travelers like me. Would def. choose this hotel again next time.
This hotel is a formal and small hotel even though all its rooms are small only 70 sq.m. each. Air conditioner's temperature can be adjust by the staff of the lobby, it won't be noisy. The location is far away from commercial district but if we take public buses to some subway stations or to Kowloon side, it need about one hour on the average. It is recommend to the people for a short stay of a couple of days.
the hotel is not centrally located. however, it is conveniently connected to Causeway bay by mini bus no.36x (only take abt 10 mins). 5 minutes boat ride to Aberdeen - very cheap fare too. taxis are quite readily available as well. i quite like the residential area whr the hotel is situated as it feels safe and homely. room and toilet are quite small, maybe feel congested for those with bigger builts or who have lots of luggage with them. not recommended for old folks if you will use the bus stop along Lee Chi Road frequently because you need to climb a long flight of stairs to get there. i am the kind of tourist who just expect a decent place to rest after a whole day out - i dun bother abt window view, buffet meals, spa as such. the staff were friendly and room service was prompt, met all my expectations at a good price. recommended for travellers who wish to up a notch from backpackers' hotels without spending a bomb.
