Lovely hotel, would definitely stay here again. Ambiguous pre-arrival info: check-in time is 8am-5:30pm but that is to “check-in” not to get into your room. We couldn’t access the room until 3pm. It would have been better for us had the booking info stated check in between 3pm-5:30pm. Nice position. We liked to use the entrance around the back through the garden rather than off the main square and through the restaurant. Decent room and immaculately clean shower area. The lack of door between the shower/washroom and the bedroom was slightly disconcerting (the toilet is separate… and has a door). Pantry in the corridor with free fruit and drinks was a nice touch. Beer/wine/snacks were available as a payable option. Breakfast is pre-selected off a grid of options the night before. It was minimalistic and I would probably opt to eat out next time. And I think there will be a next time, Hoorn has plenty to keep visitors occupied and the Ysbrantsz is definitely worth another stay.

Fabulous hotel in a great location!
Beautiful room with a comfortable bed. Lots of original touches. Great breakfast options and the staff were all lovely and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

Holland Road Trip
Road trip through Holland this hotel was an excellent location, lovely room, very clean and friendly staff, would definitely recommend. Parking was easy 24 hours 9e only a short walk away

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful boutique hotel in the old center of Hoorn with so many luxurious and unique touches and excellent service and will definitely stay again. The dining room and private garden terrace are inviting and our healthy breakfast was perfect to start the day with freshly squeezed orange juice and Illy coffee. There is plenty of shopping, bars/restaurants, and the Westfries Museum nearby. It's walkable from the train station which is less than a 1 hour ride from Schipol airport and 40 minutes from Amsterdam.

The Ysbrantsz hotel was great! Highly recommended. I arrived for the IronMan weekend and the staff were very quick to help us with our idiosyncrasies e.g. needing a takeaway breakfast at 4am! The hotel is clean, well appointed and comfortable and the staff amazing. Breakfast and food in the restaurant was also very good.

Great hotel & restaurant in the middle of Hoorn
A great hotel in the center of Hoorn, we based out of the hotel for two weeks. The staff was very helpful. The rooms were large compared to many older hotels in the area we have stayed at before. The restaurant downstairs has excellent food, the large European breakfast was outstanding with lots a fresh bread from a local bakery. The Chefs menu 4 course dinner was very good!

Alles in allem hat uns der Aufenthalt in diesem kleinen, feinen Hotel sehr gut gefallen und wir würden definitiv wieder hinfahren. Wir hatten ein sehr schönes Doppelzimmer im Dachgeschoss, das auch mit Aufzug erreichbar war und eine Klimaanlage hatte. Alles war sehr sauber und das Personal unglaublich freundlich. Einziger Kritikpunkt von unserer Seite ist, dass das eigentlich sehr hochwertige Frühstück mit einer großen Auswahl an tollen Getränken und sehr leckeren Brötchen, bei den Belägen etwas abwechslungsreicher sein könnte - besonders wenn man wie wir 7 Tage dort verbringt - und von manchen Sachen dürfte es auch etwas mehr sein. 1 Kirschtomate oder eine halbe Scheibe Lachs für 2 Personen ist einfach zu wenig.

Tolle Unterkunft mit schönem Innenhof. Unser Zimmer im 2. Stock war sehr gross, sehr gemütlich, hell und mit Balken. Leider war der Lift defekt und die Treppen relativ steil. Mit Gepäck ein bisschen schwierig. Das Frühstück war wunderbar. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Ik was alleen en werd heel lief ontvangen, als er iets was mocht ik bellen. Dat gaf mij een heel vertrouwd gevoel. Verder is de kamer echt prachtig en worden er duurzame producten gebruikt. Voor de mensen met krullen ligt er ook een föhn met diffuser! Dit hotel is zeker een aanrader

Et gennemført og hyggeligt hotel som er helt i top med kvalitet, indretning og imødekommenhed. Lækker morgenmad kan tilkøbes. Super lækker middag. Vi har været der to gange nu og hotellet får vores varmeste anbefaling!

Das Hotel ist sehr schön,sehr netter Empfang, die Lage ist genial und das Frühstück fantastisch. Empfehlenswert ist auch das Restaurant super Küche. War ein sehr erholsames Wochenende.

Super locatie en fijne sfeer in het hotel. Fijn op loopafstand van het station, de schouwburg en winkels. Vriendelijk personeel en goede service. Heerlijk dat voor het ontbijt de tafel voor je gedekt stond en het ontbijt voor je geserveerd werd, wat een verwennerij. Uitstekend bed en alles netjes schoon. Wij hebben heerlijk genoten en komen zeker nog een keer terug.

Toppertje!!!
Fantastisch hotel op een top lokatie, de rode Steen. De kamer en de faciliteiten waren uitstekend. Leuk en gezellig personeel, kortom wij komen terug!!

Sehr schönes Hotel im Zentrum, freundliches Personal, gemütliches Restaurant im Innenhof. Einen Parkplatz haben wir an der Strasse hinter dem Hotel gefunden. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
