"Strong dog smell, dirty shabby condition of interior surfaces. Obvious makeshift repairs, spongy floors, torn, flaking couch. Kitchen counter had multiple burn marks and some sticky substance, corner held down with duct tape. Screen door off tracks, laying against wall. Wife was stung by insect in the unit, had to go to hospital. We moved out after only 3 hours, and literally slept in the car rather than go back. Owner uncaring, rude and greedy. "It was very clean, very very cute, you don’t have direct view of the lake from the porch but there’s a super cute little pond and the lake is a ten second walk from the cabin. If you’re worried about the AC don’t be, it works incredibly well and never gave us any issues!"

"While not a top-notch place to stay, for the price it is a good value particularly given that you have more space for less cost than just a good motel room and can do some cooking and meal prep on your own. The check-in is always smooth and the accommodations reasonably comfortable. Setting is very nice, particularly if you get a room/suite that isn't looking onto the parking lot/driveway area.
