"My daughter and I stayed in the Orme lodge, it was lovely. Nice and warm, squirrels outside the windows. Hot tub is just a hot tub - not one with bubbles! so don't look for a button to press lol Very peaceful. If you go with kids (i went with teenager) then maybe take a laptop to watch netflix etc on. wifi connection great. Don't wear sliders on your feet when trying to do the fire or else you will slip on the mud which is hilarious to a teenager btw. Hot tub takes about 4 hours to...

"Lovely site in the Welsh hills with lakeside or woodland lodges that were clean, comfortable and have everything you need for a short self catering break.
The check in process was very easy and they offered a pre-check in online too.
Pre-warning:
They did try to contact my mobile to warn about a £60 refundable damage deposit, but the mobile number was partially Xx'd out by Hotels.com
Friendly staff who were helpful and accommodating.

"Cooks Flat is a great find in Wrexham! Tranquil, peaceful and beautiful walks on the property. What a treat to stay on a private estate and visit the Victorian kitchen and games room. I appreciated the welcome gifts and hospitality from the hosts too. Would definitely stay again next time I’m in the area."
