"Our stay at this hotel was very disappointing. The room was not clean we found dust and crumbs on the floor, and the bathroom ceiling paint was actively peeling. The location also felt unsafe. We witnessed obvious drug use in multiple areas of the hotel, and the smell was strong and noticeable. Some guests were rude and aggressive. One evening, an altercation broke out in the lobby, leaving a mess that was never properly cleaned up. My elderly father went down to the lobby for coffee only to...

"I went to Raleigh for a family event and stayed at Tru. The hotel was beautiful. Continental breakfast was delicious and the staff was amazing! I'll definitely stay again"

"I had to leave my room early for a guest threatening my safety on the property. I tried asking for assistance with no help, eventually I left the property requesting a refund for the last few days of my stay and they refused. I’m not in any way talking badly about the staff, however since it was a matter of my safety and that wasn’t helped in any way I wouldn’t recommend this hotel in the future. I have never had this happen before with an hotel stay and my ask for help was unrecognized."

"I was not informed that the property was being renovated when I booked. The water was turned off from 1 to 5 daily. The parking lot was full of storage containers for the renovation leaving little room for the guests to park. Had I known about the renovation I would not have booked. I firmly believe I should receive a discount for my stay ;"

"Comfortable stay as always at this location. Breakfast is very good and having EV chargers are a plus! Bed is also comfortable which is the most important feature for this girl!"

"Property was very run down. Smelled terrible and dirty. Pool was green. Pretty sure receptionist at check in was high on something. Ended up checking out and going to another hotel. Did not feel safe for my family and I to stay there."

"The room was fresh and clean, the breakfast was pretty good, the AC worked fabulous! The bed was a little uncomfortable to me but I'm spoiled and only like my bed at home LOL Front desk staff was very personable and kind. Visiting family in the area. Would definitely stay there again."

"This is the second time I’ve stayed at the particular motel. It’s a wonderful place and close to the facilities I needed to go to. Had to checkout before breakfast but was told I could get a grab bag. That didn’t happen. The lady in the kitchen was rather rude and kept telling me I couldn’t go back there I needed front desk to do it. Ummm front desk told me to go back there. Anyway we left without it. Otherwise place was excellent"
