"Lucky we decided not to take dog with us as the garden wasn’t safe & secure as fence was broken on site parking is not on site it’s first come first served no smoke or carbon monoxide detectors a lot of cobwebs a strong smell of dog floor in master bedroom very bouncy floor when walking over also bed mattress very hard & lumpy the switch for bedside lamps hard to access to switch on off & can’t see on advert it’s a upside down house "

"Although our stay was fleeting (just one night) we were made to feel extremely welcome by all of the staff. The room lacked a TV, but actually this was an absolute blessing and it made change not to reach for a remote control. "Absolutely fabulous few days away. This is a real gem of a hotel. Quiet and secluded but a real joy to experience. The staff are so helpful and genuine (Rosie, Sharon and Oliver deserve medals) There was plenty of choice for breakfast, the cooked breakfast was tasty and well presented. The evening dinner menu and quality of food was 10/10. I think it could be even better with a slightly extended menu. We will be back x"
