"Room was good & clean, staff were incredibly friendly & helpful, breakfast was the typical buffet style but lots of variety. Property backs onto a restaurant parking lot with not such a great view (large industrial garbage cans & junk scattered all over property) can get quite noisy later in the evening."

"We've been visiting this hotel for many years. It has a path in the back leading right to buttermilk falls State Park, which is huge highlight. But the hotel did change ownership in 2024, and it seems it's still finding it's stride since then.
There were renovations last year, which we were excited to see. We found the resulting lounge well done but quite small. The lobby is nice but not a huge change.
Seems they need to work on the rooms... our room needed a new shower fan and toilet seat for starters, and the AC did not work, but might be because it was early in April... But it was quite warm!
If breakfast is included with your reservation, then go for it.. but it's not with paying for it, it's similar to a breakfast at a Holiday inn."
