"Our stay at Quality Inn Near Lake Marble Falls was extremely disappointing from beginning to end.
When we arrived, the front desk employee appeared very tired and even mentioned that she was falling asleep. During check-in, I asked about paying for a rollaway/extra bed for my 9-year-old son because the hotel’s website lists this amenity under the “Family Friendly” section. However, she immediately told me they do not have rollaway beds and said they have never had them available. She also mentioned that the website falsely advertises a fitness room/gym, which the hotel does not have either.
I then asked for extra blankets and pillows, but was told those were unavailable as well. We specifically booked this hotel expecting accommodations that would make our family stay comfortable, especially for our child.
Unfortunately, the problems continued once we entered the room. The room did not appear properly cleaned, and my son found bugs in the bathtub area, which was very unpleasant and concerning.
The air conditioner was another major issue. It would cool the room temporarily, then suddenly shut off, causing the room to become hot again. We repeatedly had to wait for the AC to start cooling the room over and over throughout the stay.
Overall, this was a very frustrating experience. The hotel did not match the amenities advertised online, the cleanliness was below expectations, and customer accommodations were extremely limited. I would not recommend staying here."
