"This is an outstanding hotel in a great location. The hotel is looks like new and the lobby is very spacious and attractive and the staff was especially helful and welcoming. Great fitness center! The room was among the best I've stayed in recently and I've recently traveled and stayed in San Francisco, Big Sky Montana, Jacksonville, Florida and 3 hotels in Switzerland. The kitchenette was the best! The desk area was large as well as the sitting area with couch. I'll be back!"

"The property itself is very lovely and rich with history. It was peaceful to walk around and observe the beautiful oak trees. My room however had carpet with stains everywhere. I was surprised for the cost of the room that the carpet looked really dirty."

"Most things about our stay were lovely! The property is beautiful and the rooms were clean. There were only two issues - one was how hard the bed was. I know that everyone has their preferences but this bed was practically rock hard to me. On the other end of the spectrum, my husband liked the firmness. You know what you prefer, so take this information and use it how you will. The second was a slightly rude encounter with the security guard. My husband was trying to get the TV to come on and...

"This was our second stay and won’t be our last. Welcoming staff, beautiful grounds, pool, hot tub; and my favorites, waffles and all day coffee!!! Brought the dog this time, he loved it too. Pet friendly but you’d never know there was a dog there before you. Very clean. Every member of the staff spoke to or greeted us every time we saw them. Very professional. We’ll be back again, hopefully soon."

"Does NOT have a pool, does NOT provide breakfast. See photo of the sign posted as well; but the pool is permanently closed. The ice machine is "temporarily" out of service, but the notice stating this looks like it had been up for a couple of months. They say the rates are lower for not having a pool anymore, and they offer to give you a refund if you don't want to stay - knowing that most people are not going to hassle with finding a new place and having to pay last-minute rates.
