"Our stay at the hotel was excellent. The hotel is located in a very quiet area. The cleanliness and service/staff are excellent. The hotel has a shuttle service that takes you to the train station. Unfortunately, it only runs until the afternoon. The connection to Kyoto is okay. The natural surroundings of the hotel are beautiful, and you can be in the forest in a few minutes. This hotel is perfect for people who want to get away from the big cities."

"Beautiful traditional ryokan hotel, is small and so charming , it has an onsdn that you can use privately so its tattoo friendly ! They give you traditioanl pjs (yukata) and that makes it so special! The staff is really friendly and held our bags for a day before our train at nighy. Close to the deer park and lots of temples"

"The hotel room was standard size for Japanese standards. The people and facilities were really pleasant. They were so kind and helpful to us. We were very comfortable there and the onsen really rejuveated us after a long day of walking through Nara in rain. Breakfast buffet has a selection of western and japanese cuisine. It was pretty middle standard fare and you opt to eat outside if you have something in mind but it is very convenient and covers a variety of foods people might eat. We...

"Really liked this spot because it’s in the middle of Kyoto and Osaka. The hotel is 10/10 there’s a laundry room and a gym room as well as a cafe and Jazz bar which is amazing so much offered by this hotel much better and the price was amazing. "

"宿自体はとてもキレイで快適だったが、残念ながら隣のEAST宿泊者に恵まれず不満が残った。特に畳の部屋が隣接しているようで、話の内容まで丸聞こえ。日付が変わっても宴会を続け、オーナーの奈良旅館に直接電話し注意してもらっても改善されず、結局眠気が勝るまで寝付けなかった。 尚案内メールに記載の携帯電話は夜間のためか繋がらず、ネットで調べた固定電話に電話して対応していただいた。その点においてコミュニケーションを星2とした。 宿自体、宿側の対応に落ち度はないだけにとても残念でした。"

"We had a lovely time here! We were travelling by public transport, and this spot is a little of out of the way, but they sent a shuttle to the train station and it was easy to arrive. It was not clear from their website that the restaurant would not be open for dinner, and the closest restaurant by foot (other than McDonald's) was a 30 minute walk away. That was no problem; we had a nice walk, a great dinner, and really loved the onsen!"
