"This hotel is beautiful, with comfortable and clean rooms, wonderful public baths and great service. It is just minutes away from Horyuji temple. We would definitely stay there again, hopefully for more than 1 night!"
"This is a very authentic Japanese hotel and appeared to be mostly Japanese tourists. The dinner buffet had very loud live performance and the audience was definitely into it. There's an onsen at this hotel and a pool. The pool closes early and opens late so heads up. We didn't really pay attention to where the hotel was. It's about a 45 minute train from the Nara Park, we may have booked a closer place if we'd known, but for the experience of staying at this hotel it was pretty much worth...
"This is very close to Nara JR station, less than 5 minutes walk. Very conveniently located near all the famous temples in Nara.
This is a fantastic hotel, very impressed by how nice it is. The staff was very polite and friendly. Will recommend it to anyone, I am planning to stay here during my next visit.

"Wonderful traditional Japanese hotel (ryokan) with hot bath downstairs. We saw so many beautiful Sakura trees on our trip but the most amazing Sakura was right outside of this hotel. Just jaw dropping! Really enjoyed our walks down the stone stairs to the small city, beautiful views and beautiful place. We even liked it more than Kyoto, so quite and authentic :) will be back!"

"excellent so far. traditional japanese style! close to the deer :) food is excellent. bed is comfortable. has a great communal bath with nice music. love it. "
"It was an old building that was okay but not well-maintained. The staff were very helpful, kind, and friendly, despite their limited English. The great bonus was the onsen (hot spring). The room was very bigโalmost three times the size of other rooms we stayed in during our visit to Japan. However, the location was not good at all, being next to a busy highway and very far from the old town or Nara Park."
