"Positives - The balcony is genuinely useful for drying clothes and towels. On-site parking is a major plus in Hossegor as street parking is a nightmare, though spaces fill quickly. The location itself is excellent and easily walkable to both the lake and town centre. Negatives - Check-in & Access: The door code didn't work. We had to trek back to reception, which is in a different building on a different street—information you only discover after arrival. They issued a replacement...

"Warm welcome and lovely setting and Bayonne is walkable from here too. Parking is behind gates and felt secure. The room was air-conditioned and really well appointed, we will be staying here again!"

"Lovely old cozy hotel, comfortable beds and nice bathroom. The bathroom shelf may be relocated for better safety. Door lock did not work. We wished there could have been a mini fridge."

"Wonderful hotel, attentive staff, great location, very good value for a 4/6 bed suite, ideal for a family, spa facilities were excellent, indoor and outdoor pool, less than a ten minutes walk to a fantastic beach, Biarritz only 15 minutes drive away, also local buses just outside of the hotel. Local shops a short walk away. It is located on a golf course, we do not golf but the bonus was that it is set in beautiful grounds."

"Air conditioning was weak, but to be fair, most of the country is enduring a brutal heatwave. It’s probably adequate under normal conditions."

"We had a lovely relaxing stay. Our cabin was very clean and had plenty of space for everyone. We went to the beach daily and used the pool a couple of times. There is an onsite restaurant and several others in the beach (there beach is ~20 minute walk). Totally recommend"

"Belle vue sur la place de ma chambre. La chambre et la cuisine sont sur 2 étages donc prévoir qu’il y a des escaliers et notre appartement était aussi aux deuxième étage. Donc aux personnes âgées , beaucoup d’escalier pour les bagages et les aller-retour."

"Spacious room with enclosed deck area although directly overlooked by balconies of rooms above. Had hoped there would be bit of grass in the ‘garden’ for the dog as per other hotels on our trip, but totally covered with decking meant we had to take dog through hotel to entrance for a wee first thing in the morning. Hotel right next to public beach with nice beach bar and other amenities."

"La chambre standard se trouve sous les toits avec une seule fenêtre plein sud et un malheureux ventilateur de 20cm de diamètre: résultat une température intérieure de 33.1degrés à minuit. Nous avons été obligés de quitter les lieux et trouver un autre hébergement. Ce problème n'est forcément pas nouveau, mais les gestionnaires de l'établissement n'ont fait aucun aménagement ou supprimer cette chambre( et celles équivalentes:3) en période estivale."
