I was denied a pre-paid room even i arrived because they were "over sold"? I pre-paid? I'm 40 years of travel, not one time has this ever happened to me. I think it's shameful that a hotel would take a higher walk in fare over a paid on advance room, and demonstrated their total lack of customer loyalty and support over just a few $$ of short term gain. Not only will i never stay there again, but i will cancel my loyalty number after l lodging a "poor business practice" company with the parent organization.
It was midnight and i was hunting for a hotel... After pre-paying for this stay. Unthinkable. Over just a few dollars gain in room charge? Wow. Best advice, avoid this place like the plague.
Funny thing is, the hotel i found was better...(More comfortable, better need) And cheaper! So ultimately, Homewood Suites lost.
