"I stayed in B2, which is a basement room. It had a VERY strong mildew odor, chipped furniture with crooked drawers, and patchwork paint on the ceilings. This room does NOT warrant the 3.5 rating that this property has, however, other rooms may be better. The shower was clean, however, so they earned one Star for that."

"We had a wonderful stay at Wayside Inn. Our host, Joe, was very helpful and was a great chef! Our breakfasts were very good and got us ready for the day ahead. Parking was not a problem and the surrounding yard was shady and pleasant. The giant oak in the front is reported to be 200 or more years old. Our room and bath were well maintained. We would definitely stay there again. The Inn also has a great history dating back to the late 18th Century. It is said that George Washington stayed there...

"We had a handicap room and the beds were platform low beds, which didn't make much sense for an older person to get out of bed. All the employees were nice but the place needs a refresh and carpet removed in the pet rooms."

"The hotel is pretty old. One day during the breakfast my son requested the milk but the receptionist told him it was finished despite breakfast time was not. Hotel’s amenities description includes the pool but when we asked about it they said that there was no pool at all. We got very disappointed because our hotel choice was based on the inclusion of the pool."

"Carpets and bathroom tiles need to be replaced. Hallway needed vacuuming. TV in 1st room did not swivel and could only be viewed from a rolling desk chair. Storm knocked out tv service for 30-60 minutes. Poor representation of Hilton property. Price was representative of quality. Didn’t stay for breakfast."

We loved the court yard, the afternoon snack time and the morning breakfast buffet. Will definitely stay there again on our next visit up that way."

Morning guy, not so much and stingy about putting vending machine type breakfast items out and irritated when you asked. The lot was a mess. Shared parking with a very popular restaurant so hard to find a space when returning to room. Vacant run down buildings were our view from room.
