"After my initial reservation elsewhere fell through at the very last minute, this motel came through. After a hot, stressful afternoon, checking into a room with excellent air conditioning was fantastic. The room was small, but the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. I paid more than I would have if I wasn’t pretty much desperate, but this place saved the day."

"Good location, everything in walking distance. Traveled alone and felt very comfortable hanging out at the bar downstairs for dinner. The staff was super friendly and the food was excellent. The band stopped playing around 10:30 and the place was quiet enough to sleep after that time. My room was simple but comfortable."

Also, advanced notice is needed regarding the beds; all are elevated in the main house, requiring wooden steps (precarious for me); the beds of regular height are in the carriage house. "The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean, nice condition, had clean towels, soap and shampoo. Air conditioning worked. The property owner had a large black pipe run along the inside of the room for the second floor above my room. It looked hideous. The outside was not maintained, when I pulled up, I thought the hotel was closed and abandoned. Advertised breakfast but none."
