"Very room with a view that takes your breath away! At first we had no idea where to go to check in, we were not aware of the code for the key. We knocked on the staffs door and he told us, I did feel like we were bothering him so we felt bad. Other than that the property is nice. Lesson learned though, this property is 45-60 minutes away from the next town. Bring food, water and a bottle of wine with you!"

"Heima Holiday Homes are located just a short drive from town, and offers supreme serenity and great Mountain View. Self-checkin was hassle free. The home was fully furnished and equipped. "This was the coolest place we stayed in during our entire trip. The room had everything we needed & had some very fun surprises built in as well. "The accommodation looked exactly like the photos and was spotless. It was located right next to Kerið Crater, making it easy and convenient to step outside at night to watch the northern lights. "Photos can not capture the beautiful scenery at the villa. You are surrounded by nature and the view of the Northern Lights surrounds the area when they are dancing. Our teens, young adults, middle-aged, and senior family members were all able to enjoy the spacious layout. Travel to local sights is easy and worth it in order to be in the tranquil quiet by the lake. I highly recommend staying here. The owners are wonderful hosts."
