Wonderful Stay!

This place was terrific! Nice clean room, very comfortable beds, excellent price compared to others in the area, and location was superb. Would definitely stay here again when in the area.

The apartment was so nice, we really enjoyed staying there. The little kitchenette had all the necessities to be able to cook yourself some meals. The apartment was clean and modern. The bed was comfy and the location had such a nice view.

Good and clean but thin walls

Clean and spacious, exactly as pictured, comfortable beds, clear directions (though we struggled to find the front door to check in at first due to thinking a locked side door was the front door). Easy to find on maps. Good Wi-Fi . Only complaint is the wall separating us and the unit next door was SO thin. Could hear everything. Also could covert clearly hear the neighboring people slamming the door when leaving at 6 am. I slept with white noise on and slept fine until the door slamming. Would still stay here again and recommend the place though! Good location close to horseback riding, geyser, some falls and the crater.

This is a cute room to rent on a quiet farm. The only thing I would suggest is update some of the pictures of the actual building. We were confused when we arrived because the building we were staying in didn't look like any of the advertised pictures so we weren't sure if we were in the right place. Thankfully, they had signs guiding us to the right building. Also, we weren't fussy but some people may not be happy staying in an apartment attached to a farm garage.

We had a little trouble finding this property as it sits off the road and our directions put it in the middle on an intersection. We originally booked for one night and the next morning thankfully they were able to let us book a second night. They were very responsive to my messages. This property was very clean, updated and quiet. My husband noticed right away there wasn't a tv (he watches to fall asleep..lol) but it was not an issue at all. Comfortable beds. Bathroom door location was a bit odd when using the sink area. Would definitely stay here again.

A great place to stay!

We were very happy with this room which is more of a small apartment. Modern, very clean and quiet. Also had stovetop, fridge, freezer but no microwave. The bed was comfortable and the best we slept in during our road trip in Iceland. But think about this! The GPS address provided by Hotels.com is incorrect and only leads to an empty road intersection. Hotels.com also gives the address of the town of Selfoss, which is not entirely correct. In reality, the hotel is in the middle of nowhere, approximately 25 km from Selfoss. Important to contact the host before arrival for correct directions. Also, Hotels.com needs to change its description. We are satisfied with the help we received from the friendly host over the phone.

This is a nice building behind the kettlar tower. Follow the blue signs once you turn right at the tower. Our unit was clean and comfortable with a full size fridge and a 2 burner stove. No contact check in, so your room and the outer door have a code provided before check-in. Not a lot of dining nearby except the Hill restaurant. Recommended.

Hotel is super cute! Loved my stay for 2 nights. Was a tad bit hard to find from the expedia message - hotel rooms are behind the trees next to larger tower rooms. Also- could definitely benefit from more airflow during the summer

We stayed in The Hatchery at Klettar, which appears to be one of a few guesthouses on the property. The location was peaceful, quiet, and absolutely beautiful. Once we had the directions from the host and used Google Maps, it was easy to find. The Hatchery is the furthest on the property, but there are signs to guide you! There were about six or so apartments in the Hatchery, each with designated parking and a shared sitting area that was cozy and welcoming. Our studio was clean, nicely furnished, and well-equipped with a sink and stovetop — a great perk for travelers wanting to cook a meal or two, plus a little dining area with comfy chairs. The bed was comfortable but definitely smaller than the other double beds my wife and I shared at other rentals throughout our trip. More like a compact double bed, rather than an American queen. The bathroom was nice, though the shower door didn’t sit quite right and needed to be propped open due to a worn gasket. One thing that caught us off guard was housekeeping — we hadn't requested it or been notified it would occur, but we came back one day to find fresh towels and emptied trash. Not a huge issue, just unexpected, especially since our earlier messages to the host asking about laundry options had gone unanswered. Overall, it was a lovely place to stay and a great base for exploring the area. We'd definitely recommend it to travelers looking for something scenic and serene, with the added bonus of a small kitchen setup.

Die Unterkunft liegt im positiven Sinne im Nirgendwo, Mitten im Grünen, mit wunderbarer Aussicht in die Natur. Das Haus besteht aus mehreren Apartmentes, die für sich abgeschlossen sind und einem geteilten Aufenhaltsbereich, der eine echte Perle ist. Lediglich zum nächsten Supermarkt ist es etwas weiter, also am besten schon auf der Fahrt mit Lebensmitteln eindecken. Ich kann es von Herzen empfehlen.

Kleines, süßes Appartment. Wir waren total zufrieden und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Einziges Manko: es hat von allem nur zwei Dinge (2xBesteck, 2xGeschirr,….), aber dann spült man einfach direkt immer 😅
