I loved my stay here. For the cost, the room was large, clean and quiet. The hostess, Meow, is adorable and I enjoyed sitting and chatting with her each day. I cannot think of any negatives during my stay here and if I were to come back to Cha Am, I would stay here again, no hesitation.

Delightful, Old School Style Guesthouse

Pleasant 2-night stay at Sea & Sand. Large, comfortable room with more amenities than I would expect at this price range, including plenty of hot water, great A/C, fast Wi-Fi, extra power outlets, huge & soft bed, and dozens of international TV channels. Friendly staff. Great location just a block from the beach. Great value. There is no lift, only stairs, so be aware if that is an issue for you. The popular attached restaurant is unfortunately no longer open, but many excellent options are only a short walk away.

Lovely!

The lady running it was so lovely! ...Even taught us some Thai words! :)) Offered us coffees in the morning! There was a microwave and kettle in the lobby that everyone can use. There was a fridge in our room. Very close to beach as well!

Promo on reception door offers rooms at 90 baht cheaper than hotels.com lowest price. Hotel old and tired with no facilities....its also very difficult to find because the address given on the hotels .com web site is wrong. Very helpful staff.

Excellent stay

Very nice! Enjoyed every minute! Quiet, peaceful! Food- the best in town! Breakfast, did not have time to try. But coffee, made of beans, so real coffee! Very nice staff, goid sense of humor and helpful! Next time here? Defenately!

Bra mat och service.

Rummet var helt ok dock utan balkong. Sängen var ganska hård och kuddarna likaså. Ägaren var väldigt hjälpsam med både hyra av moped och skjuts till tågstationen mitt i natten. Deras egna restaurang hade fantastikt god och billig mat.

Great place to stay ! The location is perfect , walk to the beach about 3 minutes , walk to the train market about 25 minutes . Please read my other review . We extended to two more nights . The pictures were made when we left the room .

Good place to stay in cha am

We arrived from our long flight and bus drive at about 12 o clock at the sea and sand . Check in was fast and possible at this time. Very friendly staff, free hot water downstairs with cups and coffee. The air conditioning is working fine , the fridge is very big . All the shops like 7-11 and Tesco lotus express are nearby even the bank of Bangkok is nearby and other atms from other companies . We have (staying actually here ) number 4 , it's the room without balcony and it's very quite but overall this area where hotel is located is very quite ! Along the beach there are some outside street food stalls , some menus are written in Thai so just use the google translator and shot a picture of the price list, and translate it the food is cheaper than in the nearby restaurants fried rice 50 baht , nearby o zone /furans d is a small stand with a old lady , Thai ice tea and other drinks small 10 baht and 20 baht for a very big (700ml??) drink, fried rice shrimp 35 baht !!! And the food is delicious The beach is only in less than 2 minutes by walk away . The beach is quite and not many tourists so it's good for family holiday. I highly recommend this hotel and they offered for us free shuttle service by motorbike to the minivan station with our luggage (we are going to Hua Hin ) Thank you very much !!

Ok stay, didn’t clean room in morning. No new bottles of water in morning.Shower curtain filthy. Had to walk past two massage places to get anywhere and was not pleasant. Really no way to bypass them. Ok place.
