"This is a good basic room. It was clean, inexpensive and well situated, which remains my highest priority for lodging as I travel to the area regularly.
The good- Nice to have breakfast available until 10:30. Cleanliness and extremely helpful staff. Long story short, left my id behind at home and they let me check in with a photo sent by my husband. The location is great! Easy access to the Bronxville Station for Metro North and the highway.Shop Rite about 3 minutes away is open until 2 am! The room felt safe.
The bad- TV remote did not work and it would be helpful to have a channel list. The hotel is old and outdated. The comforter on the bed had a large burn mark on the inside of it. There is NO plug near the bed, so hard to charge your phone or plug any medical devices in.
The weird- Said they had a gym, never even saw a sign for one. Part of the hotel was a typical hotel with doors facing a hallway, but another part was actually outside more similar to a motel.
I would prefer to give this 3.5 stars but since I cannot, I rounded up to 4."
