"Place is good staff were great and the food was as well. Will use again"

"Very comfortable, responsive staff, clean and quiet room. The shower insert was a bit unpredictable but that was a minor inconvenience. Good location. Food was good and affordable."

"Decent enough hotel for sleeping whilst working away for 2 nights."

"In summary we would possibly stay again but definitely not eat there!! Lovely large room and comfortable king size bed had a good nights sleep, tea and coffee in room and shower was good however limited menu in pub (Marston’s) especially for vegetarians, we had an evening meal and breakfast both were poor quality and therefore not good value. We had booked and messaged property through Expedia to say we were bringing our dog but this message didn’t get sent to them so when we arrived their 2...

"Just came back after a 2-night stay. The place was easy enough to find and we didn’t struggle for parking either, location is great. However, as it is self check-in there isn’t anyone around. Everything is done via text messages and code locks. The first room we were given hadn’t been cleaned at all after the previous guests had left. "The Arms is a beautiful hotel, well maintained, in great shape, lovely staff and food and a nice room. The ONLY thing I would point out is that the tv channel options were limited and as my wife and I were fresh to the timezone it would have been nice to have some more channel choices when we couldn’t sleep."

"Beautiful hotel and staff"

"Excellent stay, friendly staff, excellent food."

"It was fine , definitely tired and has seen better days but for the price it was perfectly reasonable and clean."

"Quiet with parking. The restaurant was exactly what we were looking for. The room was ok. We almost locked ourselves in because the door handle fell off."

"This is my favourite place to stay. Clean rooms with everything you need for a short stay. The food is amazing and plenty of choice. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking. Highly recommend"

"Father and son stopover after two days of hiking during a long drive home. The Wellington Hotel was exactly what we needed — easy check‑in, no fuss, clean rooms, comfortable beds, hot showers, and a genuinely tasty breakfast that set us up for the rest of the journey. Simple, welcoming, and spot‑on. Highly recommended."
