"The resort and our room was clean. This resort is very well maintained. All the staffs was helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, the Rod and Reel Restaurant was closed on Sunday and Monday. There was no shows outside atrium due to rainfall. I will definitely revisit the Rod and Reel Resort."

"The place is seriously dated and in need of upgrades. My curtains were torn and unusable and with the sun beating in on one of those 100 degree days I was nonplussed. A quick discussion with the very accommodating desk clerk had the curtain “fixed” in no time (still needed replacement because it now couldn’t be opened - Lol.) "My stay was good. Love that its right across from a shopping center. Im from md but live in ma. And this was a good choice for hotel stay. The concierge super sweet and helpful. Was able to bring my dog. The room was clean and. Breakfast was good. I would stay there again. They also gave a pack and play for my daughter lol"

"Overall this is a great hotel. Super clean and the perfect location. However, the noise level in our room was intolerable. Do NIT stay in rom 203, if offered refuse it! The music from the restaurant directly below it starts around 5pm and didn’t stop until 10:40. The bass (thumping) was far from relaxing. I complained and was offered to change to a different room across the street. By then we were exhausted from being out in the 100 degree heat all day, we didn’t feel it was worth the effort....

"The property itself is beautiful, but unfortunately that’s where the positives ended for us. The rooms and restaurant feel very dated, and the amenities don’t match the price. Our room didn’t even have a refrigerator, so any drinks or food we brought with us stayed warm, and the shower knobs barely worked. "Ordered a Western omelet and was served a plain omelet. When I explained what a Western omelet includes, the server insisted ham was an extra $2 and clearly had no idea what I was referring to. The interaction made it obvious they weren’t familiar with the item at all even though its on the menu. It was late, we didn’t have time to argue, and the whole experience was frustrating and not worth the effort."
