"We find this the perfect place to stay when we come for our annual family get together at Caledonia State Park. It is very convenient to get to the motel, and to the park from the motel; the motel is very close to the Chambersburg exit off I81 at Rte 30; and from the motel, it is only a 10-11 min drive East on Rte 30 to the park. There are multiple pleasant places to eat within convenient walking distance, and we find this one-level, dog friendly motel very comfortable.
We also find the breakfast to be perfectly suited for us--with waffles, muffins, bagels, toast, scrambled eggs, sausage, chipped beef gravy and biscuits, fresh fruit, and cups of yogurt available in addition to juices, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate mix, oatmeal packets, cold cereals, milk and assorted toppings (butter, peanut butter, syrup, honey, jellies, peanuts, walnuts, m&ms, raisins).
Lastly, we find the breakfast area to be a pleasant place to sit and chat and/or play cards later in the day. Coffee is available 24 hours (but not most of the rest of the items available for breakfast between 6 and 9 am.).
The rooms are clean, the staff is pleasant, parking is not a problem, and they have a small outdoor pool (in season)."
