Terrible bedding. The one blanket on the bed was light as a feather. Not good.

Sadly, I cannot recommend this place to anyone!!! While the room was quaint and pretty clean; there was absolutely nothing else positive about anything.
The WiFi didn't work, therefore you couldn't get the TV to work. There was no ice and it was extremely hot that day. ( I walked across the street to buy a bag). There was a band playing that evening and it was pretty loud. After a few frustrating hours of loud music and no WiFi I packed up my stuff and left. What a waste of $200!!!!!! Not my idea of peace, quiet and tranquility in the mountains :(
This was a basic room. There was a small refrigerator, but no microwave. The bed was comfortable. The room faced the street and afternoon sun. Other cabins were behind ours and in a semi-circle that were not as exposed to street activity, but we had a dog room. We needed to request an extra set of towels as there were 2 of us and only 1 set of towels. The bar people were also the hotel staff, so they were doing two jobs. The price was high compared to other hotels.
My husband and I just stayed overnight for our anniversary at the Gold Mine Hotel and Restaurant in Idaho City. They allowed us to bring our small dog, which was important to us. The small cabin was delightful, very clean, nicely decorated & very affordable compared to other options in the area. Our's had a king bed, TV, A/C, small refrigerator and microwave. We sat out on the cute porch in the evening after having a yummy dinner (and dessert which was on the house for our occasion). They even offered to start a campfire outside near our cabin for us. Would definitely recommend staying here and will go back.
The room was clean and comfy. It would be nice to have a small kitchenette and microwave. The bar was closed while we weee there for a private party so I have no idea what it is like. The music late at night coming from the bar was a little annoying. Staff was nice and welcoming.
Very quiet spot and I felt happily isolated, cabin was awesome clean and the bed was very comfortable

I came up for a weekend wedding for my best friends and needed a place to stay. I am an ambulatory wheelchair user. I can usually transfer when I climb stairs but the cabins absolutely need banisters for safety even though it was 3 steps. I felt extremely unstable even though I had a caregiver with me. The bathroom was extremely narrow. Please try to put shower chairs in the shower units to make things easier. If those improvements were made it would have been easier and without stress before heading to my main event. Also please try to install ramps along the porch lines for easier access even before accessing the cabin spaces
The person checking us in (in the restaurant bar) didnt know where our room was located and sent us twice in wrong direction. Finally, taking us through the restaurant kitchen and back "alley" found our room for us. The room was clean and neat, but no bath soap or other lotions/iron/ hair drier. Only 2 bath towels and 1 hand towel. No washcloths. If we had needed any assistance, we had only a phone number for someone off site.
Super cute cabin room. Great 2 night stay. Just 2 minor things- no curtains or blinds in bathroom window & you have to log in to your own tv provider to get any shows.
