Stayed in the room with a queen bed and upstairs loft for two kids. Worked out. Small fridge, TV, bathroom, shower. NO BREAKFAST provided. On weekends there is a small breakfast basket at 9 AM. Expedia is not accurate on this. There is hot water, just wait. Perfect launching point for Taquitz and adventures

Clean, adorable little room! The little balcony was a nice place to sit and watch birds and squirrels. Quiet and close to downtown. The ladder to the loft needs attention. The fridge needed attention. Otherwise a very enjoyable stay and I will most definitely be back. Thank you!

Location, (right outside Idyllwild) is great. Everything else, not so much. Room was not clean. Dust everywhere. Sliding door to small balcony had no lock, (not even a clasp to secure it since the entire handle was barely attached). Bathroom was so small and poorly laid out it was virtually impossible to use if needing to sit, (hopefully not TMI). Towels/washcloths very poor quality. The walls were so poorly insulated that you could hear anything/everything coming from adjacent rooms. As paid for was supposed to provide breakfast but no breakfast anywhere. When we went to check out on a Sunday morning the front office was locked even though the neon sign said the hotel was open. I was not expecting anything fancy but by any measurements this place is below minimal acceptable standards.

For a solo traveler this is a great option, as its centrally located and easy to get to anywhere in town and the many nature hikes in the area. Loved the back porch with a view directly into the woods. As noted by other guests, only possible downside are the thin walls.
