We stayed in the loft apartment, which is in pristine condition, and, as well as having the big main balcony, has 2 smaller balconies so that you can guarantee a seat in the sun at almost anytime of day. "The property (building/room status) was fine, but the location was far from town resulting to a daily walk of aprx. 5km (under heat and humidity) since finding parking at Parga has the same chances of winning the lottery. In five days one change of towels/ sheets and no additional provision of soap/shampoo is unacceptable for an accomodation of this rate. Also the pre-payment of guarantee i.e. 50% of the total amount against the terms of Expedia was very peculiar too. Finally potential issues...

"Staff and owner is amazing!! She accommodated an extra person to our room a few days before. Rooms are spacious. Everything has been revamped. Only point for improvement is the actual pools themselves need refurbing and a slightly better breakfast selection. Other than that great location on beach front and close to restaurants and supermarkets. And just far enough from the craziness of the strip. Family run hotel for families!! Amazing!! Owner and her mum are so lovely!!"

"A wonderful stay in Paxos. Situated 10 minutes drive from the town centre it’s perfectly placed for exploring the rest of the island. The rooms are spacious and airy. They are very modern and clean (cleaner was lovely and an absolute gem of a woman). Large comfortable double bed and plenty of storage and hanging space for clothes. Fully fitted out kitchen with everything you could possibly need. Sitting outside on our little patio was a very nice way to spend the morning. Powerful air conditioning and a strong shower was also a bonus. On site is a well sized pool alongside a number of modern sun loungers. Plenty of parking too. Evie was kind enough to pick us up from the port. A very nice touch. You’re €10 each way to the town and back. Evie was a gracious host. Cannot recommend Villa Elaia more highly for anyone looking for the prefect Paxos hideaway."

"The room was clean and good for the price. The air conditioning was a little bit weak given how hot it was but not a major problem. The only downsides were that there were quite a few extra charges in terms of evening entertainment, sun beds in the hotel and (refundable) for towels, which all required cash which we didn't have enough of, but staff were lovely and quite flexible. We were half-board and the food was decent."

"It is a beautiful setting. The hotel is relatively small but the villas are nicely placed and the pool and bar areas are very nice. The sea is very pleasant with a fine rocky almost sandy beach easily accessible. Sun loungers on the beach are not available but there are enough sun loungers in the surrounding spaces with a sea view so that is OK. There were no water sports eg kayaking available although the hotel next door has a couple of paddleboards you can hire. The sea swimming area is pretty and warm, fine for most but if you like a bigger sea swim you do end up in boat lane traffic after 50 to 100 metres. Very relaxing. Great breakfast and food if a little pricey. Local village is very sweet and renting a boat there is easy. No massage or spa. No real activities to speak of. Very hilly site. But if you just want somewhere clean relaxing with a nice pool, a good view and easy access to the sea, it hits the spot."
