"The hotel was in a great location. We were able to walk to a lot of the places we wanted to see and the activities we planned. The breakfast was delicious. There was always a wide variety of options. The hotel staff were always friendly and helpful. I highly recommend the Amerikalinjen for your stay in Oslo."

"Great size room, comfortable seating area. Great location. There is some street noise as you’re on a main road, but it’s a quick trip to and from the airport using the train, and there’s an entrance across the road from the hotel. Palace is up the road and shops and restaurants surrounding."

"Didnt like this hotel at all. Small rooms, tiny restrooms and sink, no ac control (to turn it off) difficult to get to the room specially with luggage (stairs, long corridors, lots of turns) The only really good was breakfast and location. Definitely not luxe as the page implied. Staff ok but not friendly and with no service attitude. "It is too small a place. Stated it is good for 3 people but it is not. Parking of course is a problem everywhere in Norway, can’t fault the apartment for that."

"Great atmosphere. Excellent location! Steps away from the palace and right at the National Theatre train station with direct connection to the airport. So easy! Life music in the sprawling restaurant. Very quiet room. Delicious , elaborate breakfast including a gluten-free selection of bread and cakes. Very friendly reception!"

"Centrally located, a few minutes walk from the train station which was ideal as we arrived close to midnight. Immaculately presented rooms, a stunning reception - and the sauna, steam room and spa facilities were great to visit after a day of sightseeing. The restaurant and cocktail bar both delivered a fantastic experience. Would highly recommend!"
