"The hotel is very nice with large rooms and a great view on the St-Lawrence river. The restaurant and bistro serve great food so no need to hunt around for restaurants. The bed was extremely comfortable with plenty of pillows. I will return to this hotel again."

"We have stayed in Rivere de Loup a number of times and this property was very good value. Our only complaint was no light over the bathroom mirror."

"The proprietress was a delight!! It is really a charming place, with the dining area overlooking the ferry and on a hill sloping down to a lake. The only comment I would make is that we were surprised that the rooms were not straightened after our first nights stay. I understand that is becoming more common, but a little sign in the rooms might be helpful to inform guests."

"There are two locations for this motel. With the ocean view, you pay a bit more. We didn’t know, we picked the Mountain View, and it’s the motel at the other side of the highway. Still very nicely maintained and you can hear the water stream sounds, very relaxing. Nice balcony. Clean and with a fridge with freezer."
