"Hotel is conveniently located near ferry port in a nice area within walking distance to intra- muros.We stayed 5 nights in April and used it as a base for seeing St. Malo and the surrounding area. Only downside of our trip was that the outside pool was not open, as we would have enjoyed having a dip after spending the day sightseeing in the sun."

"Great location, very helpful staff, breakfast was okay. Would have been nice to have a dinner restaurant in the hotel. We struggled with the language barrier when dining around town. Had the best meal of our entire trip at the American Hotel and Restaurant (very close to hotel) - need to be aware that the good ones close for a couple of days a week."

"Great hotel, with great location! It was hard to drive to, as part of the roads were closed and one way. After this ordeal, everything else was wonderful. You do have to pay extra for breakfast and parking. I do recommend paying for parking when you book the room, to ensure you have a spot, plus it is cheaper. Hotel pool was a nice bonus, but you do have to book an allotted time if you would like to swim. Pool was heated. Room did have AC, which was great given that it was way hotter than usual during our stay. Would highly recommend."

"Liked: Stylish mid century decor, spacious room, very clean, comfortable bed and plenty of parking Not so great: no restaurant in the hotel/ nearby. We arrived late and had to drive into town to get some food. Position on the outskirts of the city, in vicinity of a large industrial/retail area - dependent on the car to get anywhere."

"Ideally situated near the ramparts of this interesting town. Parking is convenient in the underground car park just outside the city gates but prohibitively expensive. cheapest option is park and ride but….. Room was big and airy but very darkly decorated with dark green carpet on the floor and up the walls - bring a torch! The floor was badly stained but clean.bed was the biggest we have ever slept in and very comfortable We enjoyed our stay and would use this hotel again"
