"A lovely find hidden away off the main street. We only booked the room an hour before arriving but were made to feel very welcome by the young lady behind the bar. Breakfast was cooked by Phil and was delicious and he came out and had a lovely chat with us. I would highly recommend. "

Clean and comfortable with tea and coffee facilities in the room (plus bonus cake - always welcome!) and a great breakfast selection. It was particularly nice to have the option of pancakes in addition to the usual full English or cereals, pastry and yoghurt. Walking distance to Innstow restaurants."

"What a gorgeous house in a beautiful area, well run by a lovely couple. We had a wonderful stay; this little gem is tucked away on a quiet hillside spot, with breathtaking views of the coast and on the doorstep of lovely walks, and just a few minutes walk to the towns of Lynton & Lynmouth. Our room was lovely; warm, clean and spacious, a pretty and comfortable bed, soft bedding and nice pillows with a great sea view. "Standard British pub experience. Worryingly poor on cleanliness and state of room (e.g. broken shelf in bathroom). Good mateess. Host unable to find room at first. Host did not respond to message on Expedia reserving table and nothing reserved. Dinner basic pub fayre. Breakfast forced to choose between toast or cereal or full English. Good range of beer but unable to advise on local gin. Pub well used by locals and good atmosphere. Lovely situation in centre of village. Quiet."
