Nestled along the Turnagain Arm, this historic mining town offers gold panning adventures at the Indian Valley Mine National Historic Site. Hikers can explore pristine wilderness at Chugach State Park or discover hidden waterfalls along McHugh Creek's scenic trails.
Great location for both downtown and the airport. Free shuttle service to and from the airport is really appreciated. The room was spotless, perhaps a little tired but very comfortable. The staff were great! Special mention for Aiden on the front desk, and the lady who does the breakfast, sorry I didn’t catch her name. Would recommend.

We had a very good stay at the Hyatt Place Anchorage-Midtown while travelling with our two small children. The staff were polite, friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
Our room was a good size, spotlessly clean, comfortable and well suited to our family. The swimming pool was good and provided a welcome activity for the children.

Fantastic hotel, in a central location and great facilities. Room of a high standard with lots of nice touches. Could do with more sound proofing on the windows, but minor issue. Lots to wander and look at in the hotel. Restaurants good quality. The fitness facilities in particular are amazing. Hotel parking expensive and can get free street parking between 1800-0900. Would definitely recommend this hotel when staying in Anchorage.

Nice room, Queen bed a bit small for us but comfortable room. All you need to relax. Included breakfast was a bonus. Area was good and ok mid town. 10 minutes by car to everywhere. Staff efficient and friendly.

Stayed here for one night. Bob and Maria the owners couldn't have been nicer. Room was extremely comfortable and very new and clean. Breakfast was delicious. I would definitely stay again and have no hesitation in recommending.

This was such a great place to stay. Very walkable and central for tours and dining out, it was a safe and quiet location in downtown. The hotel itself felt very smart and upscale, with contemporary fittings and good attention to detail. The room felt spacious and the bed was super comfortable. The whole hotel was clean, including the fitness center, which had modern and working equipment. Dining options on site were very good, as was the small store at the front of the hotel selling coffee,...

What is an aparthotel?
An aparthotel is both a hotel and an apartment, with amenities you might expect in a traditional hotel, and more space and privacy, as found in an apartment.
