"Nice, big room with a separate sofa and desk area. Almost felt like a little suite. There's not much lobby space ouside of the breakfast room, but breakfast was pretty decent and there's a good diner you could walk to."

"Hotel was extremely clean.Staff is super friendly and accommodating. It seemed newly renovated which I love. Also the bar/restaurant in the lobby was also a nice touch with affordable menu items. Pool was located outside which was perfect for the hot summer months that kept the water temp nice when going for swim. I think the electronics in the rooms such as tv,microwave etc seemed a little dated. Other than that I’ll definitely stay again."

"I stayed at this hotel while taking my daughter to Yale Summer School. After more than 10 hours of travel from San Francisco, we arrived around 11:00 a.m., hoping to rest after the long journey. A heavyset front desk employee told us there were no rooms available until the 4:00 p.m. check-in time. We accepted that and waited in the lobby. However, we soon noticed other guests arriving after us and checking in immediately. I asked several times, but she repeatedly said, "No rooms are available,"...

"Staff was only positive. No value for the cost. No pluses. TV and internet (only included items) did not work properly in our room. Notified front desk, a very nice gentleman rebooted the TV but still had continued buffering while attempting to watch a movie. We could have stayed at the Hampton Inn for less and gotten breakfast."

"Great stay! I arrived late due to a flight delay, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room was very clean, the restaurant food was terrific, and easy parking option. The location is an easy walk to Yale and good restaurants, although feels a little unsafe at night, but that’s most places around New Haven. My only recommendation is to bring your own shampoos and soaps, otherwise 5 stars!"

"Good Staff was very attentive. Checking experience was great. Checkout experience was great. Not so great It’s an older hotel. It was clean but my room did smell like cigarettes. It bothered me but not my wife so other people might not notice. There were little things like rust on the door frame and scratches on the desk. Not enough to detract from the room but noticeable."
