"Thanks for a wonderful stay - the staff were friendly and helpful and we loved the old world feel of the hotel. The location was great whether we wanted to walk along the seafront or into town.
Note that there is no elevator - not a problem if you're happy with one or two flights of stairs, and no A/C - we slept with windows open and there was a fan in the room - just something to be aware of.
We had a wonderful stay, only one night unfortunately, but we hope to return to Victoria and look...

"The suite was very spacious with a large living room, bedroom as well as a fully equipped kitchen that contained a stove, full sized refrigerator and a microwave. The kitchen had frying pans, cutlery and dishes. It was like going to a timeshare. We cooked dinner in the kitchen and ate on the balcony overlooking the water. After many nights staying in tiny rooms that forced one to eat in restaurants, it was a pleasant change."

"Excellent location. It's an easy walk to all the main attractions of downtown Victoria. Helpful staff. Convenient parking. I would love to think I'll get back to Victoria again and if I do I'll stay the the Helm Hotel again."
