"Such a quaint and quiet inn located on the beautiful shore of Lake Superior. Very peaceful and relaxing as you enjoy the shoreline view overlooking the marina. Lakeshore walking path, Ernie restaurant next door. Beautiful area to explore. Bayside is only 10 miles away. We enjoyed our stay !"
"The hotel is quite nice, and the staff were very friendly at check-in. There are some beautiful, antique wood furniture pieces spread out over the common areas, which gives charm to the hotel. Unfortunately, my husband and I arrived during the time when the air quality was 3-4 times worse than the minimum "dangerous" rating, due to wild-fire smoke, and we had to spend nearly a whole day inside. The next evening there was a big storm, and much of the town lost electricity, just as we were getting...
"Great views, awesome room, and great owners. They went above and beyond making our stay fantastic. All staff encountered were extremely polite and helpful. We loved the property’s gear shop, balcony views and paddle boards and kayaks."
"Third party (like Expedia) still have pictures and list features of this hotel that have not been there since 2024. It advertises as a waterpark, despite not being such since 2024. Since there was no waterpark, this location should have cost no more than $170, especially considering it is horribly outdated (last remodel was in 2002), moldy smell in the rooms, improperly/inconsistently cleaned, filthy, poor...
"Cottage 4 was a blend of rustic charm and recent updates. The beds and furniture were comfortable. We were a party of two, but it would have been roomy for four. The hosts’ welcome gift of local ice cream was a bonus.
The location worked well for us. It was just off the highway, but quiet; and we had easy drives to explore towns and trails in the area."
