"Very nice hotel, easy road links to get to the A1, also up Benton road to Newcastle. Breakfast was good. We had a little walk along the river. The staff are good. rooms clean. Lots of Parking. Thank you."

"This is an affordable hotel for a family short stay, clean, appears to be recently refurbished, located in a muslim neighbourhood near a mosque not far from the city centre. Friendly staff. It doesn't have a parking place but they gave us a spot to leave our car overnight. It is good in general if you are looking for a cheap family room for a night or two."

"The location is convenient, close to the city centre. Easy walk to main tourist attractions The staff are very helpful, and was the main highlight for this visit. If it weren’t for the staff, im not sure i would have enjoyed it as much. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. For the price I paid it was a great deal. They could use a few renovations. The takeaway breakfast was handy. "

"Room was damp and smelt horrible, particularly the bathroom. Was also very noisey from the floor above"

"Cleaning was not good enough, webs in showers and mould. Stains on sheets and the dishwasher was not working. We was forced to pay for cleaning, despite all this. Dont recommend this, we felt cheated on."

"There aren’t many shops nearby, mostly regional or country-specific stores. It’s hard to find what I want. The highlight is the convenience location for a short drive or public transportation away from town, but two things are inconvenient: the hot water for showers only lasts a short time, and the breakfast options are very limited for the price I paid."

"Car park full of rubbish. Got to check in desk needed photo id which never knew about and also had to leave cash refundable charge incase you made any damage to the room. Entrance door has no lock or anything so was just open all the time. Lift out of order. Room nothing like pictures. Had a connecting door to room next door which wasnt very secure so we had to move furniture in front of it. Very in need of redecorating. Marks on walls, holes in carpet. No full length mirror but screws...

"Really friendly hotel. Lovely bright open reception area and bar/restaurant. Fabulous modern rooms with little extras to add to your stay. Great choice and quality for breakfast and a great location with fab views over the Tyne."

"Staff were so friendly and welcoming. Room was very clean and comfortable. The kitchenette was very well equipped with everything you’d need for a short or longer stay. Plenty of secure parking and fabulous breakfast. Would highly recommend this hotel. "
