"A simply lovely small hotel in the heart of the old town. Beautiful decoration, thoughtful touches in the rooms. The staff were excellent, very helpful and accommodating. Even though parking is not offered, they helped with a parking permit. Breakfast was delicious. Perfect location walking distance to everything in Ioannina. Highly recommended."

Booked what they called their "superior double room," and it was tiny—barely enough space to open both suitcases without them blocking the path to the bathroom. "King Pyrros is a disgrace to Ioannina. The room was dirty. We found hair on the floor, old juice box in the fridge. The bathroom had barely been mopped. There were cigarette butts in an old bottle on the balcony. When I complained, the lady came up that was watching the reception with a dry Swiffer to supposedly clean...The place has been left to deteriorate for years as it seems!! A horror show. If you ask why we chose to stay, because it was a holiday and no rooms were available in the city!! "
