"Everything you need, and nothing that you don't. Tiny, windowless room, tiny, but well designed shower room. If all you need is a comfortable bed for the night (we were attending a show at the Regent theatre, and going out afterwards) this is a good option when prices all around are high. 5-10 minutes walk from theatre, a Wetherspoon and nightlife. And steps away from cheap parking available on Your Parking Space. What's not to like?"

"Lovely hotel. Very nice spa building. Rooms spacious and had tea/coffee plus iron and ironing board. Breakfast options were lovely, staff friendly and helpful. Nice bar area and sitting space. The grounds are gorgeous. We stayed whilst attending a wedding at Seckford Hall and it was an easy taxi ride away. My only (very minor) criticism is that the hotel was very hot."

"I had a wonderful visit to Retreat East. The room was wonderful and I took advantage of the free hot tub, steam and sauna. The food for dinner was exceptional and the continental breakfast (also included in the price) was varied and plentiful. I would recommend Retreat East to anyone."
