"Room was spotless ,building is well maintained though it is a very old building . They have off street parking ,neighborhood is safe and in the mornings they have in house breakfast ."

"It’s a nice hotel, stayed here to get off the highway for the night. I find there to be to many rules and extra fees for things here though. The pool says it’s supposed to be just for hotel guests but they actually allow people from the gym to use it as well. Also you can not have any pool toys in the pool at all floaties, noodles, sinkers tubes nothing. You have to pay extra for everything there’s no breakfast no coffee out in the lobby no water. There is an ice machine so that’s one good thing...

"The room was clean, but small. The shower was super tiny, but I knew this was an old building, so I didn't expect huge open spaces. The decor was cute, and the breakfast options were good. There was an issue with the electricity in my room the first night. Only 2 outlets worked, the one in the bathroom, and the one that the air conditioner was plugged into. It wasn't a huge deal. I was able to get an extension cord so I could plug in my electronics. I checked in later, so I did bring it up with...

"Best place to stay in Salem. Very close to local events and museums. Right down the street from satans temple which was so awesome to walk through. Very clean. Rooms are big, beds are comfortable. The staff had some good locations for food. Ala in all my daughter and I had a great visit."

"Signs were posted in the parking lot that the Police dept. surveil the area. Black bait traps were found in my hotel room. Puddles on the floors weren't immediately cleaned up. I nearly slipped on them. I had to wait for 17 minutes to be checked into my room. The wall are very thin and I could hear my neighbors talking."

"The hotel is so quaint and just beautiful. The staff was exceptional in making sure we had a pleasant stay. Breakfast was delightful each day. This boutique hotel is in a great location of Newburyport making it so easy to walk the town to shops, restaurants, ice cream, and the waterfront.Hope to visit again soon!"
